Appearance: Aroma: Taste
Bright, pale gold hue, very fine bubbles. Chalky top note that come from Chardonnay’s dominant role in this classic 65% blend with Pinot Noir. Has a citrus freshness, purity, which also manifests on the palate. Lees contact and the red fruit give palate weight, a satisfying fullness, mouth-filling flavor. Not an aperitif style, it’s richer, fuller than that, with a very long finish.
Personal Food pairing:
As I’m still getting to do my own tastings with these wines the owners have shared some of there tastings on this wine, it has been enjoyed with Fresh oysters and a selection of cheeses such as goat’s milk, parmesan, feta and Roquefort
